And for those who are battling substance abuse and mental health issues, nutrition plays the same key role in maintaining recovery while also improving the resulting health conditions and deficiencies. Clients participating in the program meet one-on-one with our nutritionist, establishing healthy eating habits, and knowledge regarding the foods that are most beneficial for them during and after treatment.
Equine Therapy: Clean Path Behavioral Health utilizes equine therapy as a means to promote physical and mental health. Our clients work with the horses in an experiential manner to help them learn about themselves and others. Equine therapy helps the clients to relax, develop coordination, confidence and well-being.

It is a safe and effective and can help reduce cravings, ease withdrawal symptoms, decrease anxiety and stress, and promote healthy recovery.
Music Therapy: Research in music therapy suggests it has become a motivating resource for people to become engaged in their treatment. It has become a popular holistic method for treating depression and anxiety. Clean Path Behavioral Health’s music therapy program gives people, such as recovering addicts/alcoholics, victims of abuse, or any individual in recovery, a chance to have fun expressing themselves, working as a group, and experiencing the natural high only music can produce. This is accomplished by creating a “band” and writing and recording songs together with Rock to Recovery’s staff of professional musicians, who are also in recovery.
Art Therapy: Some individuals have issues with verbal communication. Clean Path Behavioral Health utilizes art therapy as a means of nonverbal communication to assist clients with being able to convey emotions and feelings they may not feel comfortable talking about. It also provides a means to explore, understand and resolve issues one may have experienced in their lives.
